With 10+ years of experience in print design & illustration- mostly influenced by classic book- and print design, mixed media & a dab of Art Nouveau when called for. I like to bring these elements into whatever I’m commissioned for, making sure each piece has a story to tell.
6 years ago, I decided to start Studio AO, and since then I’ve had the pleasure of creating illustrations and working on a wide range of design jobs for a variation of clients. I love making illustration-based logo’s for small businesses, creating imaginative surface designs for commercial businesses, cover artwork for publishers, merch design for podcasts, etc. Whatever you throw at me, I’m happy to help bring your idea to life.
Who are my clients?
I’m lucky to have clients that are mostly fellow creatives, small business owners, publishing houses and people that appreciate setting themselves apart with stunning and unique design and bespoke illustrations. What they aren’t? Business bro’s with a need for clean cut, white collar, corporate design. No shade, just not my thing 😉
Just design & illustration?
During Covid, I’ve also discovered my love for the traditional approach of printmaking. During this time I’ve taught myself how to work with linoleum and have been carving prints ever since. You can check these out here, and shop for them here.
I LOVE combining design with traditional printmaking for a unique feel, whenever possible.
Pricing
I tend to work with project pricing. Round pricing for specific jobs, based on experience and what the briefing calls for. I know this sounds vague, feel free to reach out with a project in mind for a quote. If you have a set budget in mind, let me know.
